    First large scale cryogenic lysis adapter for FastPrep-24 now available!

    MP Biomedicals LLC, manufacturer of the leading sample preparation system, FastPrep-24 has announced the availability of a new cryogenic lysis adapter, TeenCoolPrep. The adapter is designed for cryogenic lysis of medium to large scale RNA preparation from difficult to lyse samples. The adapter is the first cryogenic grinding, homogenization and lysis adapter to be used specifically for standard 15ml tubes. The TeenCoolPrep adapter is ideally suited for small scale RNA, siRNA, labile proteins and metabolites production. Utilizing the passive cooling cryogenic technology, combined with the unique motion of FastPrep-24 system, this adapter allows for high quality extractions of RNA and other thermally unstable compounds, with most difficult samples being processed in under 40 seconds.
